The promotion programme for cutting-edge innovators
The SwissInnovation Challenge Thailand is a unique promotion programme with an integrated innovation competition for projects at the ideation, conceptualisation or start-up stages as well as for established businesses. We guide and support you during the programme to bring your project to the next level. You also have the chance to win prize money and get invited to exclusive events in Switzerland!
Building on the tremendous success of the SwissInnovation Challenge which has been conducted in Switzerland for the last two years, FHNW has decided to launch the programme in Thailand and other Asian countries.
The programme of nine months offers attractive awards and training modules in entrepreneurship and innovation, coaching and mentoring modules, networking events as well as access to an impressive network in the innovation and entrepreneurship communities. The challenge is open to businesses, non-profit organisations and individuals who wish to introduce and implement an innovation or who have worked on an innovation already for some time. The business idea can take the form of a product, or service innovation as well as an organisational or management innovation
The SwissInnovation Challenge Thailand is divided into three phases, each followed by a selection process based on pitches. Participants who reach the final phase have the opportunity to win prize money amounting to 23’000 USD. The cash award for the 1st prize is 15’000 USD, for the 2nd and 3rd prize it is 5’000 USD and 3’000 USD, respectively. In addition, you can win the special prize „internationalisation“ worth 5’000 USD which will be awarded to the one project across Asia with the most convincing internationalisation strategy.
Please check SwissInnovation Challenge Asia for more information on the programme.
If you meet the general application criteria, we invite you to submit your application. Please note that participation in the programme is free of charge. Because all correspondence including your application needs to be done in English, at least one team member must be able to communicate, write the business plan and perform the pitch in the English language. Other team members do not necessarily need to speak English.
